I've finally had a moment to relax, sit back and catch up on my reading material. I was excited to see a fashion spread in last month's Vogue with Karen Elson and Jack White.















I saw Karen Elson perform with her cabaret/vaudeville troupe The Citizens Band last October and it was truly one of my greatest and most fun experiences living in NYC. I was surprised at how amazing Karen Elson was as a performer and singer. Sarah Sophie Flicker steals the show though. She has such a fun, quirky style (her and Karen Elson pick out the wardrobe for the shows), and she incorporates her trapeze skills into the show which is absolutely stunning. If you're in New York, there is rumor that they will be putting on some more shows in the future!

Big City Living

New York City is an artist's dream for inspiration. There is something unique and different on each block. During springtime, I love to walk through the Village and imagine one day owning one of those beautiful brownstones on the quiet, tree-lined streets. What's even more interesting is the apartment interiors. I have been longing for an apartment with a brick wall or walls with the picturesque molding. Due to the small living space and the imperfections in the old buildings, one has to use their imagination to create a comfortable living. I love to look at pictures of how other New Yorker's style their homes when I start to get frustrated with my living quarters.
